Pastries & Sweets
Pastries: South Union pastries, made from fresh, natural ingredients are available at Gateway Market. Bakery favorites include cinnamon rolls, pumpkin and walnut breads, croissants, tarts, cakes, brioche, chocolate brownies and muffins. We're always happy to fill special orders. The famous Tippins Pies from Kansas City are also a hit with our customers.
We strive to incorporate seasonal ingredients and specialty items into our menus, our selection may vary.
Chocolate Shop: It does not get any sweeter or more decadent than Chocolate Storybook and Chocolaterie Stam products. Chocolate Storybook chocolates are of the highest quality made locally in West Des Moines—Gateway Market offers malted milk balls, peanut butter filled milk chocolate cows, chocolate-dipped pretzels, pecan turtles, milk and dark chocolate caramels, and chocolate covered cashews. Currently Stam products consist of bon bons and corn cob chocolates, with more to come after Easter!
